South Florida Bulls Men's Basketball Statistical Leaders
The South Florida Bulls men's basketball statistical leaders are individual statistical leaders of the South Florida Bulls men's basketball program in various categories, including Point (basketball), points, Assist (basketball), assists, Block (basketball), blocks, Rebound (basketball), rebounds, and Steal (basketball), steals. Within those areas, the lists identify single-game, single-season, and career leaders. The Bulls represent the University of South Florida in the National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA's American Athletic Conference. South Florida began competing in intercollegiate basketball in 1971. Chucky Atkins
Kenneth Lavon "Chucky" Atkins (born August 14, 1974) is an American former professional basketball player who played for nine different NBA teams throughout his career. Basketball career Atkins played college basketball at the University of South Florida from 1992 to 1996. As of November 2020 he still owns three team records. He is a member of the USF Athletic Hall of Fame. Atkins was undrafted in the 1996 NBA draft. In 1996–97, he played with the LaCrosse Bobcats in the now-defunct CBA before going overseas to play for the Cibona Zagreb club in Croatia from 1997 to 1999. Atkins started his NBA career in 1999 with the Orlando Magic, with immediate impact, playing in all 82 games and averaging nine points and four assists per game. The 2009–10 South Florida Bulls men's basketball team represented the University of South Florida Bulls during the 2009–10 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was coached by Stan Heath in his third year at the school. USF played its home games in the USF Sun Dome and is a member of the Big East Conference. The Bulls finished the season 20–13, 9–9 in Big East play. They lost in the second round of the 2010 Big East men's basketball tournament to Georgetown and were invited to play in the 2010 National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to North Carolina State. Dominique O'Neal Jones (born October 15, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for the Jilin Northeast Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). A noted scorer in college, Jones had the second-highest scoring average in the Big East Conference during the 2009–10 season. College career Freshman Jones entered USF and started every game during his first season. He scored 17.1 points per game with 4.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists.
