South African Cricket Team In Bangladesh In 2015
The South African cricket team toured Bangladesh for a two-match International Twenty20 (T20I) series, a three-match One Day International (ODI) series and two Test matches against the Bangladesh national team from 3 July to 3 August 2015. South Africa won Twenty20 International series by 2–0. Bangladesh won ODI series by 2–1. With this ODI victory, Bangladesh have won four consecutive ODI series in home soil, including series against Zimbabwe (5–0), Pakistan (3–0), India (2–1) and South Africa (2–1). Mushfiqur Rahim
Mushfiqur Rahim ( bn, মুশফিকুর রহিম; born 9 May 1987) is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the former captain and vice-captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman and wicket-keeper in the Bangladesh Cricket Team. Mushfiqur started his international career in 2005 against England cricket team, England at the age of 16. He was made to play as a specialist batsman in the first Test match of his career. He thus became the youngest player to play at Lord's, Lord's Cricket Stadium. A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. The Cricket World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format. One Day International matches are also called Limited Overs Internationals (LOI), although this generic term may also refer to Twenty20 International matches. Simon Ross Harmer (born 10 February 1989) is a South African international cricketer. He plays for South Africa primarily as an off-break bowler but is also a capable lower order batsman. Vernon Philander
Vernon Darryl Philander (born 24 June 1985) is a South African former international cricketer. He was a right-handed bowling all-rounder; he had previously represented his country at under 19 level. He played for the South Africa national cricket team and Cape Cobras in South African domestic cricket. Jean-Paul Duminy (born 14 April 1984), more commonly known as JP Duminy, is a South African cricket commentator, and former international cricketer. Stiaan van Zyl (born 19 September 1987) is a South African cricketer who most recently played for Sussex County Cricket Club as a left-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium pace. 2015 Cricket World Cup
The 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup was the 11th Cricket World Cup, a quadrennial One Day International (ODI) cricket tournament contested by men's national teams and organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It was jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand from 14 February to 29 March 2015, and was won by Australia. This was the second time the tournament was held in Australia and New Zealand, the first having been the 1992 Cricket World Cup. The tournament consisted of 14 teams, which were split into two pools of seven, with each team playing every other team in their pool once. The top four teams from each pool progressed to the knockout stage, which consisted of quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final. The final was between the co-hosts Australia and New Zealand.
