Souten Kouro
''Souten'' () is a 1983 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Saawan Kumar Tak, starring Rajesh Khanna, Tina Munim, Padmini Kolhapure, Prem Chopra and Pran (actor), Pran. It was written by Kamleshwar (writer), Kamleshwar, with music by Usha Khanna. The song "Shayad Meri Shaadi" sung by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar became especially memorable. Khanna's chemistry with Munim also proved popular. The film was remade in Kannada as ''Krishna Nee Begane Baro'' and in Telugu as ''Thene Manasulu (1987 film), Tene Manasulu''. ''Souten'' was a silver jubilee hit on its release. Plot Shyam is an ambitious man who meets Rukmini, the daughter of a millionaire, and falls in love with her. They get married despite opposition from Rukmini's family. While Shyam wants to become a father, Rukmini is not interested in becoming a mother yet. Saawan Kumar Tak
Saawan Kumar Tak (9 August 1936 – 25 August 2022) was an Indian film director, producer, and lyricist. He directed many Hindi films, including successful films like ''Saajan Bina Suhagan'', ''Souten'', '' Souten Ki Beti'', ''Sanam Bewafa'', '' Bewaffa Se Waffa''. He is credited with giving break to actors such as Sanjeev Kumar and Mehmood Junior. His most famous directorial venture was Rajesh Khanna starrer ''Souten'', which was the first Indian film to be shot in Mauritius and was a platinum jubilee hit. Saawan Kumar began his career as the producer of the 1967 Sanjeev Kumar starrer film ''Naunihal''. He was the one who gave the name Sanjeev to actor Haribhai Jariwala. Shashikala
Shashikala Saigal (née Jawalkar; 4 August 1932 – 4 April 2021), better known by her first name, was an Indian film and television actress, who played supporting roles in hundreds of Bollywood films beginning in the 1940s. The Filmfare Best Music Album Award is given by the '' Filmfare'' magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi films, to the best composer/arranger of a soundtrack. The 31st Filmfare Awards were held in 1984, with the Indian New Wave Cinema at its peak. ''Betaab'' and ''Masoom'' led the ceremony with 8 nominations each, followed by ''Arth'' with 7 nominations and ''Ardh Satya'' with 6 nominations. ''Avtaar'' is a 1983 drama film starring Rajesh Khanna and Shabana Azmi. It was directed by Mohan Kumar, and the music was by Laxmikant Pyarelal, and lyrics by Anand Bakshi. ''Avtaar'' was a commercial hit, and was critically acclaimed. The film earned several Filmfare award nominations.
