Christopher Douglas Soules (born November 6, 1981) is an American reality television personality and farmer who starred in the nineteenth season of ABC's '' The Bachelor''. He earned his role as the Bachelor by becoming a fan favorite during his time on the tenth season of ''The Bachelorette'' with Andi Dorfman, where he placed third. He has also appeared in ''Dancing with the Stars''. Early life Soules was born in Arlington, Iowa, and is the youngest child and only son of Gary and Linda Soules. He has three older sisters. Soules is a fourth-generation farmer. He learned how to drive a tractor before driving a car at a young age. At Starmont High School, Soules was involved in football, track, and the National FFA Organization. When he was a senior, the Starmont High football team was runner-up in the state championship. Dale Soules (born ) is an American actress known for starring in '' The Messenger'' and portraying Frieda Berlin in ''Orange Is the New Black'' from 2014 to 2019. Early life Soules was born on and grew up in the Greenwood Lake section of West Milford, New Jersey. She attended West Milford High School. While in high school, Soules became interested in acting and began acting in Summer stock theater, singing in church choirs and started studying acting at HB Studio. Career Soules moved to New York in the mid 60s after high school to pursue an acting career, and initially worked behind the scenes in theater in a variety of positions. William P. Soules (born December 6, 1955, in Las Cruces, New Mexico) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the New Mexico Senate representing District 37 since January 15, 2013. He is vice-chair of the Senate Education Committee. William II De Soules
William II de Soules (d. 1320/1321), Lord of Liddesdale and Butler of Scotland, was a Scottish Border noble during the Wars of Scottish Independence. William was the elder son of Nicholas II de Soules, Lord of Liddesdale and Butler of Scotland, and a cousin of Alexander Comyn, Earl of Buchan. He was the nephew of John de Soules, Guardian of Scotland. While still a young man, he was received into the peace of King Edward I of England in 1304. He remained in English service in the following decade, and received reward in 1312 with a knighthood and the lands of Sir Robert Keith although by that time those were in the hands of the Scots. After the victory of the Bruce cause at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314, he switched to the Scottish side. By 1318 he was Butler of Scotland, and in 1320 he appeared as a signatory to the Declaration of Arbroath with this designation. Olivier Soules (born 24 March 1967) is a former professional tennis player from France. Soules was runner-up in the 1989 French National Championships.
