Souad Abderrahim
Souad Abderrahim (born 1964) is a Tunisian politician. She was elected as the mayor of Tunis, Tunisia's capital, on July 3, 2018. She is a member of the Islamist Ennahda Movement The Ennahda Movement ( ar, حركة النهضة, Ḥarakatu n-Nahḍah; french: link=no, Mouvement Ennahdha), also known as the Renaissance Party or simply known as Ennahda, is a self-defined Islamic democratic political party in Tunisia. She wore the veil during her years of study at the Faculty of Medicine of Monastir.
