Sophie Taylor (born 12 September 1995) is an Australian field hockey player. Personal life Taylor was born in Camberwell, Victoria, and plays representative hockey for the Victorian Vipers. Career Junior national team Taylor made her debut for the junior national team at the 2016 Junior Oceania Cup, helping the team to qualification for the Junior World Cup. Taylor was part of the Australian women's junior national team 'The Jillaroos' that won bronze at the 2016 Hockey Junior World Cup in Chile. Senior national team Taylor will make her international debut at the 2018 Sompo Cup in Ibaraki, Japan is a prefecture of Japan located in the Kantō region of Honshu. The 2016 Junior Oceania Cup was a field hockey tournament held in Gold Coast, Australia. The tournament served as a qualifier for the 2016 Men's and Women's Junior Hockey World Cups. Both the Australian men's and women's teams finished the tournament undefeated, qualifying directly to the Junior World Cups. Victorian Vipers
The Victorian Vipers are a field hockey team who participate in Australia's national field hockey league, the AHL. The team is predominantly made up of amateurs who participate in the Victorian Premier League competition. The team's home stadium is the Victorian State Netball and Hockey Centre.
