Sonic Free Riders
is a motion controlled racing video game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega exclusively for the Xbox 360. The game requires the use of Microsoft's Kinect peripheral and was a Kinect launch title in November 2010. ''Sonic Free Riders'' is the seventh racing game in the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' series, and the third entry in the ''Sonic Riders'' trilogy. It is a direct sequel to '' Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity''. The game's story centers on the series' main antagonist Doctor Eggman announcing a second World Grand Prix, secretly planning to gather data from the riders to program into his robots. The game received generally unfavorable reviews from critics; though praise was given for the game's graphics, music, multiplayer, story, and amount of content, heavy criticism was given for the game's motion controls, which many found unresponsive and inaccurate. Sonic Team
is a video game developer owned by the Japanese video game company Sega as part of its Sega CS Research and Development No. 2 division. Sonic Team is best known for the long-running '' Sonic the Hedgehog'' series and games such as '' Nights into Dreams'' and '' Phantasy Star Online''. The initial team, formed in 1990, comprised staff from Sega's Consumer Development division, including programmer Yuji Naka, artist Naoto Ohshima, and level designer Hirokazu Yasuhara. Jack Fletcher
Jack Fletcher is an American voice actor, casting director, writer and voice director. He has done voice acting and directing for anime and video games. He has been the English voice director for the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' series, starting with ''Sonic Free Riders''. He also acted in the English dubbing adaptations of Hayao Miyazaki's films until he was replaced by John Lasseter. Fletcher has done additional work as a theater director and teacher. is a Japanese anime television series based on Sega's ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' video game series. Produced by TMS Entertainment under partnership with Sega and Sonic Team, and directed by Hajime Kamegaki, ''Sonic X'' initially ran for 52 episodes, broadcasting on TV Tokyo from April 2003 to March 2004.
