Sonia Falcone
Sonia Falcone, born March 27, 1965, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, is a Bolivian artist known for her painting and installation work. She currently resides in Mexico and is a naturalized Mexican citizen. Early life At an early age Falcone moved to the United States where she began to paint. As a child, she wanted to be a dentist; she attended nursing school but finally chose art as her career. Sonia represented her homeland in Japan with the title of Miss Bolivia International 1988. She is an activist for health and education, a supporter and promoter of children's rights, and protector of women who suffered domestic violence. Philanthropic work Falcone was invited as a volunteer by the Scottsdale Center for the Arts Museum in Arizona and devoted her time to community projects related to and in support of the arts: improvement and maintenance of the opera, theatre, and the Museum of the city. Pierre Falcone (born 19 March 1954 in Algiers) is a French businessman. He is the Chairman of Pierson Capital Group. Early life Falcone is the son of Pierre Falcone senior, who created ''Papa Falcone'', a fully integrated operation in the fish industry in Algeria. Born in Algeria, Falcone and his parents moved to France when he was eight years old. His parents moved from Algeria along with other French citizens when the country became independent in 1962. Falcone studied law and economics at the University of Aix-en-Provence from 1973 to 1975. Career Falcone moved to Brazil in 1977 at the age of 24; he soon started a business in trading agricultural products. Aymara Language
Aymara (; also ) is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Bolivian Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers.The other native American languages with more than one million speakers are Nahuatl, Quechua languages, and Guaraní. Aymara, along with Spanish and Quechua, is an official language in Bolivia and Peru.
