Sonia Chahal
Sonia Chahal is an Indian amateur boxer. She is a silver medallist at the 2018 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships. Early life and career Chahal was born in Nimri village of Haryana state's Bhiwani district. She is the younger of two children of Mr. Jai Bhagwan, a farmer, and homemaker mother Neelam. She started boxing in 2011 after taking inspiration from Kavita Chahal. And after six months of training at the Bhiwani Boxing Club under the coach Jagdish Singh, she won silver medal at the school-level national championships in the same year. She continued her training in Bhiwani for the next three years. Manisha Moun
Manisha Moun (born 23 December 1997) is an Indian boxer who competes in the featherweight weight class. She won bronze at the 2019 Asian Amateur Boxing Championships. Early life Moun was born on 23 December 1997 in Matour village at Kaithal district, Haryana. She was the youngest of three children and her father worked as a tractor mechanic, before becoming bedridden after two heart attacks. Despite being disallowed by her parents from taking part in any sport, Moun would sneak out of the house with her brother to play volleyball. She was soon noticed by a boxing coach and started her training at the age of 12, while keeping it a secret from her father. He discovered her participation two years later when he read a newspaper report of her winning a medal in a district-level competition. Jagdish Singh (boxer)
Jagdish Singh is an Indian boxer and a boxing coach from Bhiwani district of the Indian state of Haryana. He founded the Bhiwani Boxing Club (BBC) in 2003, which produced four members of the five member boxing team in Beijing Olympics 2008, including the bronze medal winner, Vijender Singh.
