''Song of the Clouds'' (French: ''Sérénade aux nuages'') is a 1946 French comedy film directed by André Cayatte and starring Tino Rossi, Jacqueline Gauthier and Jacques Louvigny.Crisp p.116 It was shot at the Marseille Studios of Marcel Pagnol in Southern France. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Auguste Capelier and Georges Wakhévitch. André Cayatte
André Cayatte (3 February 1909, in Carcassonne – 6 February 1989, in Paris) was a French filmmaker, writer and lawyer, who became known for his films centering on themes of crime, justice, and moral responsibility. Cayatte began his directoral career at the German-controlled Continental Films during the French occupation. Some of Cayatte's earlier films that addressed his characteristic themes include ''Justice est faite'' (''Justice is Done''; 1950), ''Nous sommes tous des assassins'' (''We Are All Murderers''; 1952), and ''Le passage du Rhin'' ('' Tomorrow Is My Turn''; 1960). Clairette Oddera
Clairette, (April 3, 1919 – October 28, 2008) was a Quebec-based France, French actress and singer. After her own career slowed down she became the proprietor of Montreal's "Chez Clairette" nightclub. In later life she received official honors for her cultural influence in giving a career break to many up-and-coming entertainers who later became famous. She was born Claire Françoise Oddera in 1919 to Charles Oddera and Rose Fanucci in Marseille, France, Marseille (however her birthname is given as Claire Oderra in many sources).
