Song Dandan
Song Dandan (; born 25 August 1961) is a Chinese skit and sitcom actress. Biography Song was born in Beijing, on August 25, 1961, to a highly educated family. Her father Song Gong () was vice chairman of Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Her brother Song Beisha (; born 1951) was vice governor of Shanxi and vice chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. She was trained and started as a drama actress. But it was her skit debut, A Date with Slug, in 1989 CCTV New Year's Gala that brought her immediate success. Afterwards she costarred first with Huang Hong, then with her successful partner Zhao Benshan in many Gala show skits. Some of her roles included "Anti-family plan Guerilla", and "Yesterday, today and Tomorrow". On television her most famous role was in ''I Love My Family'' (我爱我家). Song is the pinyin transliteration of the Chinese family name 宋. It is transliterated as Sung in Wade-Giles, and Soong is also a common transliteration. I Love My Family
''I Love My Family'' () is a Chinese sitcom. It was China's first multi-camera sitcom and it originally aired from 1993 to 1994 with a total of 120 episodes. It is also the first Mandarin-language sitcom. It was directed by Ying Da and Lin Cong and written primarily by Liang Zuo and Wang Shuo. It was produced by Beijing Red Green Blue TV and Commercials Center. It was inspired by the popularity of Mandarin-dubbed episodes of ''Growing Pains'' as well as the family-centered premise. It is regarded as a "milestone of Chinese TV comedy", and its director, Ying Da, is acclaimed as the "godfather of Chinese sitcom", and "China's Norman Lear" by foreigners. Although it is a sitcom, each scene plays like a skit, combining humour and emotional content. It is notable for having a theatre-experienced cast. Baozi (), Pao-tsih or bao, is a type of yeast-leavened filled bun in various Chinese cuisines. Wang Gang (born December 22, 1948) is a Chinese actor and host. He is best known for his role as Heshen, a corrupt Qing Dynasty official favoured by the Qianlong Emperor, in many television series.
