''Sonata Mix Dwarf Cosmos'' (released August 20, 2007 in Oslo, Norway) is the third album by Susanna, also known as Susanna and the Magical Orchestra, released on the label Rune Grammofon (RCD 2066). Background This is the first album release as Susanna. It is a collection of original songs composed by Susanna, David Wallumrød (track 4) and Øystein Greni (track 7). Joined by a number of the elite jazz and prog rock musician of Norway, including her husband record producer and guitarist Helge Sten, pianists Morten Qvenild and her brother Christian Wallumrød, bassplayer Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, and drummer Pål Hausken, with guitarists Øystein Greni and Ola Fløttum, thereminist Barbara Buchholz and harpist Giovanna Pessi guesting on one song each. Susanna Wallumrød
Susanna Karolina Wallumrød (born 23 June 1979 in Kongsberg, Norway) is a Norwegian vocalist, known for her low key original songs. She is the sister of the drummer Fredrik Wallumrød and the pianist Christian Wallumrød, cousin of the pianist David Wallumrød, and is married to the music producer Helge Sten. Career Susanna and the Magical Orchestra is the moniker of singer Susanna and keyboard player Morten Qvenild. Her song "Believer" from their first album and their cover version of Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" featured in two 3rd season episodes of the American medical drama ''Grey's Anatomy'' and on 3rd season of '' Skins'', on episode 6. Pål Hausken
Pål Hausken (born 25 August 1980 in Rennesøy, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (drums and percussion), most known from bands like the jazz trio In The Country where he plays together with Morten Qvenild and Roger Arntzen, but also for his collaboration with artists like Susanna Wallumrød, '' Bull of the Year'', '' Zahl'' and Music for a While together with Tora Augestad. Career Hausken was a music student at the Norwegian Academy of Music when he together with fellow students Morten Qvenild and Roger Arntzen initiated the band In The Country. Here he play a central role as drummer and with five releases this is the most productive of his projects. Joseph Will Oldham (born January 15, 1970) is an American singer-songwriter and actor. From 1993 to 1997, he performed and recorded in collaboration with dozens of other musicians under variations of Palace (Palace, Palace Flophouse, Palace Brothers, Palace Songs, and Palace Music). Jude Rogers (born 1978) is a Welsh journalist, lecturer, arts critic and broadcaster. Barbara Buchholz (8 December 195910 April 2012) was a Berlin-based German musician and composer. She was one of the leading theremin players of the world. Life Buchholz was born in Duisburg. She studied flute, guitar, bass guitar and singing at the Bielefeld University. She earned her first success as a bass player in the German woman jazz band ''Reichlich Weiblich''.
