The Sonai River was a river in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, India. Human development activity filled in portions of the river, leaving only sporadic ponds with many dried sections of the river route. North 24 Parganas (abv. 24 PGS (N)) or sometimes North Twenty Four Parganas is a district in southern West Bengal, of eastern India. Hakimpur is an upazila of Dinajpur District in the Division of Rangpur, Bangladesh. Geography Hakimpur Upazila is located at . It has 13,769 households and total area 99.92 km2. Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen ("Assembly of Mujahideen--Bangladesh", abbreviated: JMB; bn, জামাত-উল-মুজাহিদীন বাংলাদেশ) is a terrorist organisation operating in Bangladesh.
