Anna Bergendahl
Anna Henrietta Bergendahl (born 11 December 1991) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She took part in Swedish TV4 music program ''Super Troupers'' in 2004, and in ''Idol 2008'' where she reached the Final 5 before being eliminated. In 2009, Bergendahl signed for Lionheart Records. Her debut album was released on 14 April 2010. Bergendahl won Melodifestivalen 2010 with the song "This Is My Life" and represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Norway, although she failed to qualify for the final. The song hit No. 1 on the Swedish Singles Chart on 5 March 2010. Biography Early life Bergendahl was born in Hägersten, Stockholm, and raised in Nyköping and Katrineholm. She is of partial Irish descent, as her grandmother was born and lives in Ireland. Her first performance in front of an audience was in a cathedral in York when she was only eight years old. ''Yours Sincerely'' is the debut studio album by Anna Bergendahl. It was released on 14 April 2010 and reached the top of the Swedish Albums Chart on 23 April 2010. Singles The lead single from the album," This is My Life", was released on 28 February 2010. Anna Bergendahl performed the song in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 representing Sweden, she failed to qualify for the final scored 62 points and finished 11th. "The Army" was released as the second single from the album on 31 August 2010. Critical reception Jon O'Brien from AllMusic rated the album 4.5 stars out of 5 and wrote, "Her uptempo tracks, then, are infinitely far more appealing than her slower numbers, but she possesses the kind of voice that's just aching for a heartfelt love song that would make her ''Eurovision'' disaster a distant memory. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list.
