''Somebody Wrote Love'' is the fourth studio album by Canadian country music artist George Canyon. In 2007, the album won Canyon a Juno Award for Country Recording of the Year. The track "Some People Change" was previously recorded by Kenny Chesney on his 2005 album '' When the Sun Goes Down'', and later by Montgomery Gentry on their 2006 album ''Some People Change''. Montgomery Gentry's version was released as a single. Additionally, "Quitters" was later recorded by Collin Raye on his 2007 EP ''Selected Hits'', from which it was also released as a single. George Canyon
George Canyon (born Frederick George Lays, August 22, 1970) is a Canadian country music singer. He was the runner up on the second season of ''Nashville Star'' in 2004. He grew up in Fox Brook, Pictou County, Nova Scotia before he moved west to Calgary, Alberta. He also holds an appointment in the Canadian Forces as the Colonel Commandant of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. James Earl Yeary (born in Hillsboro, Ohio) is an American country music singer and songwriter. In 1994, Yeary moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to begin a career as a recording artist. Although he was signed to Atlantic Records, a change in label personnel prevented his debut single from being released. Jason Sellers (born March 4, 1971) is an American country music artist. After several years of touring the United States in his family's band, Sellers joined the road band of Ricky Skaggs. By 1997, he was signed to a recording contract with BNA Records, for whom he recorded two studio albums: 1997's '' I'm Your Man'' and 1999's '' A Matter of Time''. Joe Neil Thrasher Jr. (born July 13, 1965) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Between 1995 and 1997, he and Kelly Shiver comprised the duo Thrasher Shiver, which recorded a studio album for Asylum Records in 1996 and charted two singles on the '' Billboard'' country charts in early 1997. Pat Alger (born September 23, 1947, in LaGrange, GeorgiaCarlin 2003, p. 3.) is a country music songwriter, singer and guitarist and a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame (2010) and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame (2013).
