Stefan Quinn Soloviev (born May 21, 1975) is an American businessman who is the Chairman of the Soloviev Group, the parent company of Crossroads Agriculture, the Colorado Pacific Railroad, the Solow Building Corporation, and other business entities. He took over the Solow Building Corporation from his father Sheldon Solow, after his death on November 17, 2020. Early life Stefan Soloviev is the son of Mia Fonssagrives-Solow and Sheldon Solow. He uses the Russian spelling of the family name as it was before it was Anglicised on arrival at Ellis Island. He grew up in Manhattan, New York, played spring football in 1996 at St. John’s University (New York) and attended the University of Rhode Island, but did not graduate. UEC-Aviadvigatel JSC (Russian: АО "ОДК-Авиадвигатель", lit. Aeroengine) is a Russian developer and builder of aircraft engines, most notably jet engines for commercial aircraft. Based at the Perm Engine Plant, its products power the Ilyushin Il-76MF, Ilyushin Il-96, Tupolev Tu-204, and Tupolev Tu-214. It also designs and builds high-efficiency gas turbine units for electric power stations and for gas pumping plants. The company has its background in the Experimental Design Bureau-19 plant, set up to manufacture aircraft engines. Anjelika Solovieva (also ''Anzhelika Solovyova'', russian: Анжелика Соловьёва; born March 19, 1980) is a Kyrgyz former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and backstroke events. Solovieva competed in two swimming events at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. She achieved a FINA B-cut of 1:06.33 from the Kazakhstan Open Championships in Almaty. Andrey Soloviev
Andrey Borisovich Soloviev (russian: Андрей Борисович Соловьёв; 7 October 1953 – September 27, 1993) was a Soviet war photographer. He was killed by sniper fire while covering the battle for Sukhumi in the Abkhazian war. Soloviev studied at the Moscow Institute of Architecture but never graduated. Instead, he became a photojournalist, joining the Itar-TASS news agency in 1987. He also worked as a stringer for the Associated Press. After the break-up of the Soviet Union, Andrey Soloviev covered many armed conflicts, including in Nagorno-Karabakh, Transnistria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, South Ossetia. Dr. Pavel Aleksandrovich Solovyov (russian: Павел Александрович Соловьёв; June 26, 1917 – October 13, 1996) was a Soviet engineer born in Alekino in Kineshemsky District of Ivanovo Oblast.
