The Fordham
The Fordham is one of the tallest residential buildings in Chicago. The 52-story building was completed in 2003 at a height of 574 ft (175 m) and features a château A château (; plural: châteaux) is a manor house or residence of the lord of the manor, or a fine country house of nobility or gentry, with or without fortifications, originally, and still most frequently, in French-speaking regions. One Rincon Hill
One Rincon Hill is an upscale residential complex on the apex of Rincon Hill in San Francisco, California, United States. The complex, designed by Solomon, Cordwell, Buenz and Associates and developed by Urban West Associates, consists of two skyscrapers that share a common townhouse podium. It is part of the San Francisco Skyline and is visible from Mt. Diablo, Port of Oakland and San Francisco. The taller tower, ''One Rincon Hill South Tower'', was completed in 2008 and stands 60 stories and 641 feet (195 m) tall. The shorter tower, marketed as ''Tower Two at One Rincon Hill'', was completed in 2014 and reaches a height of 541 feet (165 m) with 50 stories. The South Tower contains high-speed elevators with special features for moving residents effectively, and a large water tank designed to help the skyscraper withstand strong winds and earthquakes. The Southfield Town Center is a cluster of five interconnected skyscrapers forming a contemporary office complex in the Detroit suburb of Southfield, Michigan. It includes the Westin Southfield Detroit Hotel, restaurants, a fitness center, and a major conference center for up to 1,000 attendees. The Millennium Centar ( sr, Центар Миленијум, ) is a Multi-purpose stadium, multi-purpose indoor arena located in the city of Vršac. The Murano is a residential skyscraper in Center City, Philadelphia. Part of a condominium boom occurring in the city, the Murano was announced in 2005 and was developed jointly by Thomas Properties Group and P&A Associates. The building, named after Murano, Italy, was completed in 2008 at a cost of US$165 million. The site, previously occupied by a parking lot, was the location of the Erlanger Theatre from 1927 to 1978. The blue glass and concrete, 43-story, skyscraper was designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and Associates. Murano's condos range between and and were designed to be loft-like with each featuring a balcony. The building features ground level retail space and an adjacent parking garage.
