Solace Of Requiem
Solace of Requiem is an extreme metal band originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. The group formed in 2001 with traditional death metal roots but began combining elements of technical death metal and black metal by the time of their 2010 release. Their 2014 album, ''Casting Ruin'', is often referred to as part of the subgenre known as technical blackened death metal. Sound Considered a mix of technical death metal, black metal, and brutal death metal with most caveats the genre normally has to offer, including extreme vocals, the normal barrage of blast beats and abundant double bass drumming, as well as guitar-work with sweep picking and arpeggios. However, the band has also integrated the study of binaural audio into the structures of their songs, which gives them an augmented sound and odd compositional structure. A broken chord is a chord broken into a sequence of notes. A broken chord may repeat some of the notes from the chord and span one or more octaves. An arpeggio () is a type of broken chord, in which the notes that compose a chord are played or sung in a rising or descending order. An arpeggio may also span more than one octave. ''Metal Maniacs'' was an American magazine that was based around heavy metal music. History Founded in 1989 by Mike 'G' Greenblatt and Katherine Ludwig of Metal Shop. Where its sister publication ''Metal Edge'' largely covered glam metal, ''Metal Maniacs'' focused largely on covering the more extreme sub-genres of heavy metal such as thrash and death metal genres. Originally a Sterling publication, it was acquired by Zenbu Media in February 2007. The magazine's editorial board was based in Manhattan, New York City, and published ten issues per year. Brett Hoffman (born July 13, 1986), better known as dakotaz, is an American Twitch streamer and YouTuber from Dearborn, Michigan who plays '' Fortnite: Battle Royale'' as well as other titles. While he has streamed other games in the past, including ''Fortnite'' almost exclusively, he now plays a variety including ''Among Us''. Aletheian
Aletheian are a Christian progressive/melodic death metal band. They formed in Lebanon, Pennsylvania in 1997 under the name Crutch, and then changed their name to "Aletheian" prior to the 2003 album ''Apolutrosis''. Guitarist Alex Kenis joined Becoming the Archetype in 2007. In the early 2007, Aletheian signed to IronClad Recordings, an imprint of Metal Blade Records. Biography Aletheian was originally formed under the name Crutch in 1997. Grave is a Swedish death metal band that was formed in 1986 by vocalist and guitarist Ola Lindgren who is their only constant member.
