Sol Invictus (Faith No More Album)
''Sol Invictus'' (Latin for ''Unconquered Sun'') is the seventh studio album by American rock band Faith No More, released on May 19, 2015. It was Faith No More's first studio album following 1997's ''Album of the Year'', marking the longest gap between two studio albums in their career, and their first release on Reclamation Records. ''Sol Invictus'' was also the band's first album since 1992's '' Angel Dust'' to feature the same lineup as its predecessor. The album marked the group's fifth collaboration with longtime producer Matt Wallace, this time helping with the final mix rather than a more substantial producing role. Background On February 24, 2009 after months of speculation and rumors, Faith No More announced they would be reforming with a line-up identical to the ''Album of the Year'' era, embarking on a reunion tour called '' The Second Coming Tour''. To coincide with the band's reunion tour, Rhino released the sixth Faith No More compilation, ''The Very Best Definitive ...

Hyde Park, London
Hyde Park is a Grade I-listed major park in Westminster, Greater London, the largest of the four Royal Parks that form a chain from the entrance to Kensington Palace through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, via Hyde Park Corner and Green Park past the main entrance to Buckingham Palace. The park is divided by the Serpentine and the Long Water lakes. The park was established by Henry VIII in 1536 when he took the land from Westminster Abbey and used it as a hunting ground. It opened to the public in 1637 and quickly became popular, particularly for May Day parades. Major improvements occurred in the early 18th century under the direction of Queen Caroline. Several duels took place in Hyde Park during this time, often involving members of the nobility. The Great Exhibition of 1851 was held in the park, for which The Crystal Palace, designed by Joseph Paxton, was erected. Free speech and demonstrations have been a key feature of Hyde Park since the 19th century. Speakers' Cor ...

Siouxsie And The Banshees
Siouxsie and the Banshees were a British rock band formed in London in 1976 by vocalist Siouxsie Sioux and bass guitarist Steven Severin. They have been widely influential, both over their contemporaries and with later acts. ''Q'' magazine included John McKay's guitar playing on " Hong Kong Garden" in their list of "100 Greatest Guitar Tracks Ever", while ''Mojo'' rated guitarist John McGeoch in their list of "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" for his work on " Spellbound". ''The Times'' called the group “one of the most audacious and uncompromising musical adventurers of the post-punk era". Initially associated with the punk scene, the band rapidly evolved to create "a form of post-punk discord full of daring rhythmic and sonic experimentation". Their debut album ''The Scream'' was released in 1978 to widespread critical acclaim. Following membership changes, including the addition of guitarist McGeogh and drummer Budgie, they radically changed their musical direction ...

The Scream (album)
''The Scream'' is the debut studio album by British rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees, released on 13 November 1978 by Polydor Records. The album is considered a landmark recording: its innovative combination of angular guitar with a bass-led rhythm and machine-like drums played mostly on toms, made it a pioneering work of the post-punk genre. ''The Scream'' was met with widespread acclaim and was hailed by critics as an original musical development in rock music. It has been cited as a key influence on a number of succeeding post-punk, noise rock and alternative rock acts, including Joy Division, Killing Joke, the Cure, Big Black, Sonic Youth, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Faith No More and Massive Attack. Background In late 1977 and early 1978, Siouxsie and the Banshees received major press coverage but failed to secure a recording deal. A fan undertook a graffiti campaign in London, spraying the walls of the major record companies with the words "Sign the Banshees: do it now" ...

The Hove Festival ( no, Hovefestivalen) was a music festival held on the island Tromøya outside of Arendal in southern Norway. It was held for the first time from 26 to 30 June 2007. Running for eight years and at one time the largest music festival in Norway, Hove Festival was discontinued after its 2014 show due to negative profits. Hove Festival was acquired by Festival Republic in 2008 after going bankrupt. As with other Festival Republic events, there were no age restrictions, and children under the age of 12 were admitted free of charge. Hove strove to be an environmentally neutral festival, both buying carbon offset quotes for all power and transportation used during and prior to the festival, and sorting and recycling all trash produced by the event. Preparation for the festival relied heavily on volunteer work. In 2010 there were a total of 2,500 people volunteering for security, stage hand, drivers, kitchen duty and post-festival cleanup.
