Sogna Ragazzo Sogna
Roberto Vecchioni (born 25 June 1943) is an Italian singer-songwriter, singer-lyricist, lyricist, teacher and writer. Biography Vecchioni was born in Carate Brianza, Province of Monza and Brianza, to a Naples, Neapolitan family . In 1968 he graduated in Classical Literature at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Catholic University of Milan, where he subsequently worked for two years as assistant lecturer of History of Religion. Later he was appointed professor of literature and history at a Milanese High School, an activity that he continued for almost thirty years and that would influence several of his songs. His career in the Italian music industry began in the late 1960s as songwriter for Italian pop stars such as Ornella Vanoni, Gigliola Cinquetti, Mina (Italian singer), Mina, Iva Zanicchi and the band Nuovi Angeli. Vecchioni's first solo album, ''Parabola (Roberto Vecchioni album), Parabola'' was released in 1971. In 1973 he took part in the Sanremo Festival with " ... Carate Brianza
Carate Brianza is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Monza and Brianza, Lombardy, northern Italy. The city lies at an elevation ranging from above sea level, on the Lambro river. History The history of Carate Brianza dates back to the Stone Age, as shown by a discovery made of carved rocks that are now preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Milan. The Lombard Queen Theodolinda built in this town a tower, which later was turned into the bell tower for the main church. After the 10th century, a wall was built around the town to protect it from barbarian attacks. The Middle Ages was characterized by the spreading of the Christianity, with the construction of five churches and a hospital. During the 19th century jurist and philosopher Gian Domenico Romagnosi lived in Carate.
