Sofyan Amrabat
Sofyan Amrabat ( ar, سفيان أمرابط; ber, ⵙⵓⴼⵢⴰⵏ ⴰⵎⵕⴰⴱⵟ; born 21 August 1996) is a professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Premier League club Manchester United, on loan from Serie A club Fiorentina. Born in the Netherlands, he plays for the Morocco national team. Amrabat is a graduate of Utrecht's youth system. He made his first-team debut for the club in November 2014, and went on to make 54 appearances for them in total, before being signed by Feyenoord in 2017. One year later, he joined Belgian team Club Brugge, who loaned him to Italian club Hellas Verona in August 2019. Hellas Verona purchased him and immediately sold him to Fiorentina in January 2020. He joined Manchester United on loan in September 2023. Amrabat played youth international football for both the Netherlands and Morocco. The Belgian Cup (french: link=no, Coupe de Belgique; nl, Beker van België []; german: link=no, Belgischer Fußballpokal) is the main Single-elimination tournament, knockout association football, football competition in Belgium, run by the Belgian Football Association, Royal Belgian FA. The competition started in 1908 with provincial selections as the "Belgian Provinces Cup". Starting from 1912 only actual clubs were allowed to partake. The KNVB Beker (; en, KNVB Cup), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup. Noureddine "Nordin" Amrabat ( ar, نورالدين أمرابط, ber, ⵏⵓⵓⵔⴷⴷⵉⵏ ⴰⵎⵔⴰⴱⴰⵜ; born 31 March 1987) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Greek Super League club AEK Athens. Amrabat played for Dutch national youth teams and once was called up for the senior national side.
