Sofron Dmyterko
Sofron Dmyterko O.S.B.M. (1 June 1917 – 5 November 2008) was a Ukrainian Bishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Dmyterko was born in Bychkivtsi, Ukraine, ordained a priest in the Religious Order of Saint Basil the Great on 14 May 1942 and ordained a bishop on 30 November 1968. He was confirmed to the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Ivano-Frankivsk on 16 January 1991 and retired on 7 November 1997. The Order of Saint Basil the Great ( uk, Чин Святого Василія Великого, translit=Chyn Sviatoho Vasyliia Velykoho; la, Ordo Sancti Basilii Magni, abbreviated OSBM), also known as the Basilian Order of Saint Josaphat, is a Greek Catholic monastic order of pontifical right that works actively among Ukrainian Catholics and other Greek-Catholic churches in central and eastern Europe. Sofron Stefan Mudry, O.S.B.M (27 November 1923 – 31 October 2014) was a Ukrainian Bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Church. Sofron Stefan Mudry was born in Zolochiv, Poland, was ordained a priest in the Religious Order of Saint Basil the Great on 25 December 1958. He was elected the Coadjutor bishop to the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Ivano-Frankivsk on 2 March 1996 and ordained a bishop on 12 May 1996.
