Sofie Hagen
Sofie Hagen is a London-based Danish comedian, author, podcaster, fashion designer, and fat acceptance campaigner. She has toured with comedy shows, released a book and hosted and co-hosted a number of podcasts. Biography Sofie Hagen was born in Denmark, on 10 November 1988. Hagen started doing stand-up in Danish in 2010, in Copenhagen. In 2012, Hagen performed on Danish TV show ''Zulu Comedy Galla''. Hagen moved to London in September 2012 to perform regular comedy. In 2013, '' Time Out'' identified Hagen as "One to Watch". Hagen won the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year the same year. In 2014, Hagen won the Chortle Best Newcomer Award for which Hagen was nominated alongside Pierre Novellie, Tim Renkow and Jonny Pelham. Josie Long
Josie Isabel Long (born 17 April 1982) is a British comedian. She started performing as a stand-up at the age of 14 and won the BBC New Comedy Awards at 17. In 2006, Long won the If.comeddies Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for her show ''Kindness and Exuberance''. Michael Legge (comedian)
Michael Legge (born 12 August 1968) is a London-based Northern-Irish stand-up comedian and television host. Career He has written for the BBC, ITV (TV network), ITV, Channel 4, MTV, VH1 and other media, and has appeared in numerous venues throughout the UK as well as in Australia, United States, Canada, Singapore, the Netherlands, Germany and Dubai. Richard Herring
Richard Keith Herring (born 12 July 1967) is an English stand-up comedian and writer, whose early work includes the comedy double act Lee and Herring (alongside Stewart Lee). He is described by ''The British Theatre Guide'' as "one of the leading hidden masters of modern British comedy". Towards the end of the double act, Herring also worked as a writer, producing four plays. After Lee and Herring went their separate ways he co-wrote the sitcom ''Time Gentlemen Please'', but quickly returned to performance with concept-driven one-person shows like '' Talking Cock'', ''Hitler Moustache'' and ''Christ on a Bike'' as well as regular circuit stand-up. Chortle is a British comedy website launched in 2000 by Steve Bennett. The site is a major source of comedy news in the UK. It also reviews comedy shows nationwide, including extensively at the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and presents the Chortle Awards to honour the best stand-up comics working in the UK. In recent years, the site has also branched out into events promotion. History Prior to starting Chortle, Bennett, who graduated from Oxford University, had been working as a local newspaper editor for the Informer group of free newspapers in Surrey and West London. Julia Shaw (born January 20, 1987) is a German-Canadian psychologist and popular science writer who specialises in false memories. Shaw has been an honorary Research Associate in Psychology at University College London (UCL) since 2017 and was a contributor to ''Scientific American'' between 2015 and 2017.
