Sofia Residents in Excess ( bg, Столичани в повече) is a Bulgarian TV comedy-drama series produced by BTV and Dream Team Production that premiered on BTV on 23 March 2011. Plot Two families from the Bulgarian capital – Chekanovi ''(the Chekanovs)'' and Lyutovi ''(the Lyutovs)'' – are in constant competition among each other. They used to live in the outmost metropolitan district of Izvor, but they have moved to central metropolitan district and are real Sofia residents now. Lyubomir Neikov
Lyubomir Neikov ( bg, Любомир Нейков; born 7 February 1972, in Cherven Bryag) is a Bulgarian comedian and actor. He is known for his work on television and in theatre. He graduated from the Technical School of electrical engineering and later he graduated from NATFIZ in 1998, specializing in Doll Acting. In 1998 he started working on ''Slavi's Show'', where he was part of "The Actor Trio" together with Krasi Radkov and Viktor Kalev. He portrayed many different characters on the show, including The MC Pharaoh and Bate Boiko. In 2006 he quit the show and the trio disintegrated. In 2007 he started his own show named "Komitsite" (Bulgarian:"Комиците") ("The Comedians" - in English) with the famous Bulgarian actors Hristo Garbov, Chrastio Lafazanov and Ruslan Maynov. Desislava Ivanova Doneva ( bg, Десислава Иванова Донева; born 7 March 1979), known by her stage names Desi Slava ( bg, Деси Слава) or DESS, is a Bulgarian singer-songwriter and producer. She was born in Radnevo, Bulgaria. Her first stage appearances began at an early age, when she would win awards at festivals for children. Shortly afterwards, she became the soloist of "Radnevo" orchestra. Stefan Lambov Danailov ( bg, Стефан Ламбов Данаилов; 9 December 1942 – 27 November 2019) was a Bulgarian actor who served as Minister of Culture of Bulgaria (August 2005 – July 2009). The first film Danailov took part in was ''The Traces Remain'' (') when he was a child. At that time he did not want to be an actor but in 1966, he graduated from VITIZ (the Bulgarian Theatre Academy). His best-known work was as Major Deyanov in the series ' (''At Each Kilometer''). He participated in numerous films and plays for which he won a lot of prizes. For 20 years he was a professor at the Theatre Academy in Sofia, teaching there since 1988. On 2 december 2019, The Bulgarian National Theater organized the biggest memorial service in Stefan Danailov's name. Vasil Troyanov Boyanov (; born 7 March 1978), professionally known as Azis (), is a Bulgarian recording artist, of mixed Bulgarian and Romani ethnicity.
