The Société scientifique et littéraire des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence is a learned society founded in 1878. It was originally called the Société scientifique et littéraire des Basses-Alpes, before the department's name change. Its offices are in Digne-les-Bains Digne-les-Bains (; Occitan: ''Dinha dei Banhs''), or simply and historically Digne (''Dinha'' in the classical norm or ''Digno'' in the Mistralian norm), is the prefecture of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in the Provence-Alpes-Cô ..., the administrative centre of the department. Digne-les-Bains

Learning is the process of acquiring new understanding, knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, attitudes, and preferences.
