The Sociedad de Foot-Ball de Barcelona () was a football scratch team that existed between 1892 and 1896, mainly consisting of players from the British colony of Barcelona, but also with Catalans and even Frenchmen. This entity was initially known as the Barcelona Football Club (1892–94), before being renamed as ''Sociedad de Foot-Ball de Barcelona'' following a restructuring in 1894. It was one of the first Catalan football clubs and is considered a predecessor of FC Barcelona founded in 1899. Some historians ascribe this entity as "a group of thirty friends, English workers, who played alternately and without a regular squad". Hippodrome Of Can Tunis
The Hippodrome of Can Tunis was a sports venue in the city of Barcelona, Spain. Originally an equestrian venue, it's now best remembered as a historic football and aeronautic venue. Agustin Peris
Agustin Peris de Vargas (1880 – 27 August 1948) was a Spanish sports journalist and pioneer of baseball and football in Catalonia, who held managerial positions in the respective federations as a founder and the first president of the (1929–1939) and the treasurer of the Catalan Football Federation. He played both sports in his youth, participating in the very first documented baseball match held in Spain in 1901 and playing as a midfielder for FC Internacional and Sport Club Català before becoming the president of the latter. Apart from playing football and baseball, a sport he practiced until he was over fifty years old, he was also a swimmer and an athlete and worked as a journalist in several publications of his time, including the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, in which he signed the chronicles under the pseudonym "Strike". The Royal Barcelona Maritime Club (Catalan: ''Reial Club Marítim de Barcelona'' (RCMB), Spanish: ''Real Club Marítimo de Barcelona'') is a member-only yacht club based in Barcelona. It was established in 1881 and is one of the oldest yacht clubs in Spain. Ronda de Sant Pere is a thoroughfare in central Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, one of the main roads in the lower side of Dreta de l'Eixample, part of the Eixample district.
