Soccer Bowl 2014
Soccer Bowl 2014 was the North American Soccer League's postseason championship match of the 2014 season to determine the NASL Champion. The event was contested in a one-game match between the San Antonio Scorpions ( Fall Season champions) and the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. San Antonio defeated the New York Cosmos 2-1 in their semi-final match while Fort Lauderdale defeated Minnesota United FC ( Spring Season champions) in a penalty shootout 5–4 after a 1–1 tie in the other semi-final game. The match was played on November 15, 2014, at Toyota Field, in San Antonio, Texas and televised live on ESPN3, ONE World Sports, NASLLive.com as well as on San Antonio's MeTV KSAT 12.2 and Fort Lauderdale's Sofloradio.com. Walter Ramírez
Walter Isidro Ramírez (born November 7, 1983) is a Honduran footballer who plays for Miami United FC in the National Premier Soccer League. Career After playing with the amateur teams Real Honduras and Honduras Five Star (Honduras Cinco Estrellas) in the prestigious Florida-based Copa Latina, Ramírez signed with Miami FC of the USL First Division prior to their first season in competition in 2006. He has since gone on to be a mainstay in Miami's defensive line, playing in over 50 games for the team. Sainey Touray
Sainey "Ballack" Touray (born February 8, 1990 in Serrekunda) is a Gambian footballer who last played for Austin Aztex. Career Club Touray began his professional career with Tallinding United of the Gambian Second Division, where he was the league's youngest forward after joining the team in 2003. In 2005, he moved to First Division side Wallidan, and became one of the club's key players, leading the club to the 2008 Gambian title as the club's top scorer with nine goals. His play at Wallidan and with various Gambian youth national teams sparked the interest of several European clubs, leading to him training in 2007 with Arsenal of the English Premier League. Trevin Shonari Caesar (born 26 April 1989) is a Trinidad and Tobago international footballer who plays for Club Sando as a forward. Juan Leone Cruz (born June 13, 1987) is an American soccer player who played for Austin Aztex in the USL Pro. Daryl Sattler
Daryl Sattler (born September 5, 1980 in Miami, Florida) is an American soccer player. Career College Sattler played college soccer at Western Kentucky University where he started in the net all four years. He currently holds the WKU school record for career shutouts with 19.5, served as team captain and was named team MVP in 2002 and 2003, was named to the Missouri Valley Conference the MVC All-Freshman Team and to the All-Tournament Second Team in as a senior in 2003. César Gerardo Elizondo Quezada (born 10 February 1988) is a footballer who plays as a striker for Pérez Zeledón. Josue Soto (born January 3, 1989) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for USL League One club Tormenta FC. Career Academy Soto trained with the Houston Dynamo first team in the summers of 2008 and 2010, but he missed 2009 due to injury. He led the Dynamo Academy to the final of 2007 Dallas Cup, where the team lost in a penalty shootout. Wálter Restrepo Uribe (born June 21, 1988) is an American-born Colombian football player. Stephen DeRoux (born 3 December 1983) is a Jamaican footballer. Career College DeRoux played college soccer at Prince George's Community College, in Largo, Maryland, where he was a NSCAA Second Team All-American in 2002. Professional DeRoux signed a developmental contract with D.C. United on 15 September 2005, and subsequently played in 10 games for the team, but following the conclusion of the 2007 season, United did not exercise DeRoux's contract option.
