Soaring Sky! Pretty Cure
is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. It is the twentieth installment in the ''Pretty Cure'' franchise and was released in commemoration of the franchise's 20th anniversary. Koji Ogawa serves as the series' chief director, with Ryunosuke Kingetsu as head writer, Atsushi Saitō as character designer, and Hajime Watanabe as sub-character designer. It began airing on all ANN stations in Japan on February 5, 2023, succeeding '' Delicious Party Pretty Cure'''s timeslot. The series theme is "heroism", and its motif is the sky. Magical Girl
is a subgenre of Japanese fantasy media (including anime, manga, light novels, and live-action media) centered around young girls who possess magical abilities, which they typically use through an ideal alter ego into which they can transform. The genre emerged in 1962 with ''Himitsu no Akko-chan'', followed by ''Sally the Witch'' in 1966 produced by Toei Animation. A wave of similar anime produced by the studio in the 1970s led to being used as a common term for the genre. In the 1980s, the term was largely replaced by "magical girl", reflecting the new popularity of shows produced by other studios, including ''Magical Princess Minky Momo'' and ''Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel''. Ayumu Murase
is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with the agency VIMS. Biography Murase was born in the United States, but grew up in Aichi, Japan. He lived in Aichi until graduating from high school, after which he attended university in Kyoto Prefecture. Later, he moved to Tokyo. After showing an interest in theatre, Murase joined the Japan Narration Actors Institute with the aim of becoming a voice actor. Ichijinsha
is a Japanese publishing company focused on manga-related publication, including magazines and books. The company was first established in August 1992 as a limited company under the name Studio DNA whose main purpose was to edit shōnen manga.
