"So Happy" is a single by Theory of a Deadman, and the first to be released from their third album ''Scars & Souvenirs''. It was officially released to radio on February 11, 2008, although many rock stations in the United States added it to their rotations earlier. "So Happy" debuted on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart on February 9, 2008, and peaked at #2 on April 5, 2008. The song needed only three weeks to become a top-10 hit on the Mainstream Rock chart, making it their fastest top-10 entry to date. Brent Stephen Smith (born January 10, 1978) is an American singer best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Shinedown. Early life Smith was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and is an only child. Career Prior to fronting the rock band Shinedown, Smith had a high school band named Blind Thought and later was the lead singer in a band called Dreve, which Atlantic Records had signed. ''Scars & Souvenirs'' is the third album by Canadian rock band Theory of a Deadman, and was released on April 1, 2008. It has so far been the band's most successful album to date and has spawned many hit singles. A special edition CD/DVD of the album was released on October 20, 2009. It features bonus and acoustic tracks (some were released on the iTunes version of the album), the band's entire video catalog, and numerous making-of and behind-the-scenes features. Bonus video includes "Haciendas," Tyler's special send-up of MTV's Cribs. Titling The title of the album comes from a line in the song "By the Way".
