So Beast
''So Beast'' is the first Japanese album from the South Korean boy group Beast. It was released in Japan on August 10, 2011 in 3 formats: A CD+DVD A coming with DVD, 72-page photobook, 22-page lyric booklet and comes in a digipak with a sleeve over it, CD+DVD B comes with a DVD with different contents and a 32-page photobook and CD only just featuring a lyric booklet and its CD. It contain 12 tracks, some tracks in Korean and some tracks are Japanese versions from their previously released albums. It ranked no. 3 in Oricon's Weekly albums chart with 50,819 copies sold in the first week. Composition The album includes Japanese versions of songs which were previously released in Korean. Most notably, "Fiction" and "Fiction (Orchestra Version)" from their first full album "Fiction and Fact", "Mystery" on the EP "Beast Is the B2ST" and also their first two Japanese singles "Shock" and "Bad Girl". Beast (South Korean Band)
Highlight (Korean: ) is a South Korean boy band formerly known as Beast (Korean: 비스트). The band consists of four members: Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon. Originally a six-piece band, Jang Hyun-seung departed from the group in April 2016, and Yong Jun-hyung departed in March 2019. In late 2016, the group moved labels from Cube Entertainment to Around Us Entertainment and subsequently changed their name to Highlight in 2017. The group debuted in 2009 with the EP ''Beast Is the B2ST''. In 2011, they released their first full-length album, ''Fiction and Fact'', and made their Japanese debut with the single, "Shock (Beast song), Shock". Yong Jun-hyung (Hangul: 용준형; born Yong Jae-soon on December 19, 1989), commonly known as Junhyung, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer and actor. Junhyung rose to fame as a member of South Korean boy band Highlight (formerly known as Beast), formed in 2009. He departed from Highlight in 2019, amidst the controversy of admitting to watch illegal videos, although the police stated that Junhyung was only considered as a witness at that point in time in the Burning Sun scandal. Soribada
Soribada ( ko, 소리바다) was the first Korean peer-to-peer file-sharing service, launched in 2000 by Sean Yang. The name 'Soribada' means "Ocean of Sound" or "Receiving (downloading) Sound". It was closed in 2002 by court order but continued to be distributed with a stipulation that its users were responsible for any of the files downloaded. On November 5, 2003, Soribada was relaunched as and in July 2004, the website was renewed as a P2P search portal with a paid MP3 service in December 2004. It remains the most widely used P2P system in Korea. The most recent version of Soribada is Soribada 6, which is downloadable on their website. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016. In November 2018, Oricon began to include streaming in its album rankings, introducing a combined album chart based on album-equivalent units. Charts are published every Tuesday in Oricon Style and on Oricon's official website.
