Brandon Roger Snyder (born November 23, 1986) is an American professional baseball coach and former utility player. Since August 2021, he has been the bullpen catcher for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played in MLB for the Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves and Tampa Bay Rays. Career Snyder attended Westfield High School in Chantilly, Virginia. Ellsworth Snyder (May 13, 1931 – August 11, 2005) was an American abstract painter, professional pianist, conductor and scholar. He was known as a champion of avant-garde art and music and is associated with composer John Cage and the Fluxus art movement. He preferred that his name be spelled ''ellsworth snyder'', using all lower-case letters. Errol James "EJ" Snyder, Jr. (born December 3, 1965) is an American survivalist and television personality. Biography EJ Snyder was born in Englewood, New Jersey. Following the divorce of his parents around 1975, he and his brother Jeff were brought up by their mother. He grew up in North Jersey, where he experienced childhood bullying; this caused him to become interested in strength training and self-defense. Snyder joined the United States Army when he was 19 years old. In 1991, he fought in the Gulf War, and in 2004, the Iraq War. Edwin Donald "Duke" Snider (September 19, 1926 – February 27, 2011), nicknamed "the Silver Fox" and "the Duke of Flatbush", was an American professional baseball player. Primarily a center fielder, he spent most of his Major League Baseball (MLB) career playing for the Brooklyn / Los Angeles Dodgers (1947–1962), later playing one season each for the New York Mets (1963) and San Francisco Giants (1964).
