Matti Suur-Hamari (born 31 May 1986) is a para-snowboarder. He is a three-time medalist, including two gold medals, at the Winter Paralympics. He represented Finland at the 2014 Winter Paralympics and again at the 2018 Winter Paralympics where he served as flag-bearer in the 2018 Winter Paralympics Parade of Nations. He also competed at the 2022 Winter Paralympics. Career He claimed his first Paralympic medal during the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Snowboarding by claiming a gold medal in the men's snowboard cross event. Snowboarding at the 2022 Winter Olympics were held at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou and Big Air Shougang in Beijing, China. The events took place between 5 and 15 February 2022. A total of 11 snowboarding events will be held. In July 2018, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) officially added the mixed team snowboard cross event to the Olympic program, increasing the total number of events to 11. A total of 238 quota spots were distributed to the sport of snowboarding, a decline of 20 from the 2018 Winter Olympics. Ben Tudhope (born 13 December 1999) is an Australian Paralympian who has competed in para-snowboard cross at three Winter Paralympics 2014 to 2022. His selection at the age of 14 at the 2014 Winter Paralympics meant that he became Australia's youngest Winter Paralympian, replacing Michael Milton. Mike Schultz (born August 27, 1981) is a Paralympic snowboarder and the founder of BioDapt Inc, a prosthetics business.
