Malcolm Pratt Snider (born April 5, 1947) is a former professional American football guard and tackle who played six seasons in the National Football League. College career After graduating from North Salem High School in Salem, Oregon, Snider attended Stanford University, where he was an All-American tackle in 1968. NFL career He was drafted in the third round of the 1969 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. Antonio Snider-Pellegrini
Antonio Snider-Pellegrini (1802–1885) was a French geographer and scientist who theorized about the possibility of continental drift, anticipating Wegener's theories concerning Pangaea by several decades. In 1858, Snider-Pellegrini published his book, ''La Création et ses mystères dévoilés'' ("The Creation and its Mysteries Unveiled"). He proposed that all of the continents were once connected together during the Pennsylvanian Period. He based this theory on the fact that he had found plant fossils in both Europe and the United States that were identical. He found matching fossils on all of the continents. Van Voorhees Snider (born August 11, 1963) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder for the Cincinnati Reds. Snider attended Shades Valley High School in Alabama where, in 1981, he committed to play college baseball for the UAB Blazers. In November 1981, however, he was attending Gadsden State Junior College when he signed a professional contract with the Kansas City Royals. He played parts of two seasons for the Cincinnati Reds in 1988 and 1989. The Reds traded Jeff Montgomery to the Kansas City Royals for him on February 15, 1988 and he made his debut with Cincinnati on September 2, 1988 against the Chicago Cubs. Todd Daniel Snider (born October 11, 1966) is an American singer-songwriter whose music incorporates elements of folk, rock, blues, alt country, and funk. Early career Todd Snider was born in Portland, Oregon, but was raised in nearby Beaverton, where he lived until he graduated from Beaverton High School in 1985. After high school, he moved to Santa Rosa, California, to attend Santa Rosa Junior College. He only lasted one semester, but while there, he learned to play the harmonica. Samuel Prather Snider (October 9, 1845 – September 24, 1928) was a representative from Minnesota. He was born in Mount Gilead, Ohio, Mount Gilead, Morrow County, Ohio and attended the public schools, the local high school at Mount Gilead, Ohio, and Oberlin College, Ohio. Matthew Kale Snider (January 26, 1976 – October 9, 2023) was a former American football fullback. He graduated from the University of Richmond in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Science and Health. The Carolina Panthers offered him an NFL free agent contract in April 1999, but he was waived from the Charlotte-based team in June. The Green Bay Packers then offered him a two-year contract in July 1999, and Snider made the roster as the back-up fullback and special teams performer after coming into camp as the fourth-string fullback. One highlight of his career at Green Bay was a preseason 66-yard touchdown reception at Lambeau Field. He played two seasons for Green Bay, who released him at the start of the 2001 season. Edwin Donald "Duke" Snider (September 19, 1926 – February 27, 2011), nicknamed "the Silver Fox" and "the Duke of Flatbush", was an American professional baseball player. Primarily a center fielder, he spent most of his Major League Baseball (MLB) career playing for the Brooklyn / Los Angeles Dodgers (1947–1962), later playing one season each for the New York Mets (1963) and San Francisco Giants (1964).
