Snax (musician)
Paul Bonomo (born November 9, 1969), better known as Snax, is a musician, singer, songwriter, producer, performer and DJ from the Washington, D.C. area. He is currently based in Berlin, Germany. Snax became well known as a member of electro-pop duo Captain Comatose and subsequently for his solo single "Honeymoon's Over," the remix of which by Konrad Black was an underground club hit in 2007. He has collaborated and toured with several artists including Peaches, Scissor Sisters, Mocky, Jamie Lidell and Joey Arias. Snax is proficient on keyboards and also plays guitar, bass and drums. He performs most instruments and vocals himself on his releases. Career Snax founded the art-rock homopunk band Fagbash, who were active in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. Silver Spring is a census-designated place (CDP) in southeastern Montgomery County, Maryland, United States, near Washington, D.C. Although officially unincorporated, in practice it is an edge city, with a population of 81,015 at the 2020 census, making it the fifth-most populous place in Maryland after Baltimore, Columbia, Germantown, and Waldorf. Downtown, next to the northern tip of Washington, D.C., is the oldest and most urbanized part of the community, surrounded by several inner suburban residential neighborhoods inside the Capital Beltway. ''Late Night Tales'' and its predecessor ''Another Late Night'' are the names of two related series of artist-curated compilation albums released by Azuli Records in the UK until 2009 when the independent record label Night Time Stories took over the series. Both series were started by the author A.W. Wilde. The tracks on the albums are selected and mixed by a diverse selection of artists asked by ''Late Night Tales'' to create the ultimate late night mix. Terranova (band)
Terranova is a German band based between Berlin and Paris made up of current members Fetisch and &me. Terranova are signed to Kompakt records. Terranova was formed in 1996 by Fetisch, Marco Meister and Kaos. They previously went under the moniker Turntable Terranova on the Compost label and sometimes as Edition Terranova. Their music is a fusion of punk rock, electronic, hip hop and House. They currently reside between Paris and Berlin and perform DJ sets worldwide. Ellen Fraatz, known professionally as Ellen Allien, is a German electronic musician, music producer, and the founder of BPitch Control music label. Her album ''Stadtkind'' was dedicated to the city of Berlin, and she cites the culture of reunified Berlin as one of the main inspirations for her music. She sings in both German and English.
