Smithfield Plains Post Office opened on 7 December 1967 and was located in the Shopping Centre on the corner of Peachey and Crittenden Roads. This district is named after Doris Irene Taylor MBE, a leading force in the founding of Meals on Wheels, and Labor activist. Munno Para is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Playford. In the local Kaurna dialect, Munno Para means ''golden wattle creek''. Smithfield is a suburb in the northern outskirts of Adelaide, South Australia. It is in the City of Playford. Geography Smithfield has Main North Road as its eastern boundary, with service stations, the historic Smithfield Hotel and several other businesses and private residences. Anderson Walk is the southern boundary of the original village, which was arranged in a grid with Augusta Square in the centre. Davoren Park
Davoren Park is a suburb at the northern extent of the Adelaide metropolitan area, South Australia in the City of Playford. The suburb was formed as part of a merger between Elizabeth Field and the northern part of Elizabeth West on 11 November 1993. It is named after the Davoren family, who were early pioneers of the area. Andrews Farm is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Playford. History Andrews Farm was founded in 1991 as a suburb in the then Munno Para Council. It was formed following the renaming of Smithfield West in recognition of the Andrews' who were local farming Families.
