Smiling at Strangers is the second studio album by Australian Hip Hop album by TZU, released in September 2005. The album was produced by Magoo (Australian producer), Magoo (Regurgitator and Butterfingers (Australian band), Butterfingers) and released under the Liberation Music record label. The album peaked at number 71 on the ARIA charts. The album was later re-released as a limited edition double album entitled, ''Snarling at Strangers''. Australian Hip Hop

Magoo (Australian Producer)
Magoo is the professional name of Lachlan Goold, a multi award-winning Australian music producer based in Brisbane, Queensland. After working briefly in mechanical engineering, Magoo began in music as a live sound engineer, touring nationally before producing seasoned local Brisbane bands the Dreamkillers and Pangaea in the early 1990s. By the mid-1990s Magoo had recorded music by Powderfinger, as well as two EPs by Regurgitator. He rose to prominence with his production work on Regurgitator's debut album ''Tu-Plang'', which also earned him his first ARIA Music Awards, ARIA award nominations in 1996. ''Snarling at Strangers'' is a repackaged version of '' Smiling at Strangers'', an Australian Hip Hop album by TZU TZU (pronounced "Tee Zed Yoo") were an Australian hip hop group, formed in 1999 by Joelistics, Yeroc, Seed MC and Paso Bionic. They used instruments in live performances, giving their shows a rock-infused feeling. Duzy What joined in 2005. TZ .... The album also came with an EP containing five previously unreleased tracks. These tracks (listed under the 2nd disc title 'Snarl') were not included on the original album, as the band considered them too politica while the ''Smiling At Strangers'' album was quite upbeat. Regurgitator
Regurgitator are an Australian rock band from Brisbane, Queensland, formed in late 1993 by Quan Yeomans on lead vocals, guitar and keyboards; Ben Ely on bass guitar, keyboards and vocals; and Martin Lee on drums. Their debut studio album, ''Tu-Plang'' was released in May 1996; it was followed by ''Unit'' in November 1997 which was certified triple platinum. Butterfingers (Australian Band)
Butterfingers are an Australian hip hop group from Brisbane, Queensland. Most of their releases are on their own label, Valley Trash Records. They are currently signed to New World Artists. History The group was formed when lead vocalist 'Evil' Eddie Mark Jacobson booked himself in for a gig at The Zoo, a bar in Brisbane, without a band or any intentions of performing solo. The venue held Jacobson's booking to him, and a backing band was assembled featuring DJ/percussionist Olly Thomas, bassist Dave Crane, and drummer Damien Green. Their first two singles "Everytime" and "I Love Work", reached No. 38 and No. 15 respectively in the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2003. TZU (pronounced "Tee Zed Yoo") were an Australian hip hop group, formed in 1999 by Joelistics, Yeroc, Seed MC and Paso Bionic.
