''Super Smash Bros.'' is a crossover fighting game series published by Nintendo. The series was created by Masahiro Sakurai, who has directed every game in the series. The series is known for its unique gameplay objective which differs from that of traditional fighters, in that the aim is to increase damage counters and knock opponents off the stage instead of depleting life bars. The original '' Super Smash Bros.'' was released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64. The series achieved even greater success with the release of '' Super Smash Bros. ''Smash!'' was a weekly British comics, British comic book, published initially by Odhams Press and subsequently by IPC Magazines, from 5 February 1966 to 3 April 1971. After 257 issues it merged into ''Valiant (comics), Valiant''. During 1967 and 1968 ''Smash!'' was part of Odhams' Power Comics line, notable for its publication of American superhero strips. During this period, alongside British humour strips, ''Smash!'' included black-and-white superhero reprints originally published in the US by Marvel Comics and DC Comics. ''Smash'' is an American musical drama television series created by playwright Theresa Rebeck and developed by Robert Greenblatt for NBC. Steven Spielberg served as one of the executive producers. The series was broadcast in the US by NBC and produced by DreamWorks Television and Universal Television. The series revolves around a fictional New York City theater community and specifically the creation of a new Broadway musical. It features a large ensemble cast, led by Debra Messing, Jack Davenport, Katharine McPhee, Christian Borle, Megan Hilty, and Anjelica Huston. Brian "Smash" Williams is a fictional character in the NBC/DirecTV(The 101 Network) drama television series '' Friday Night Lights'' portrayed by actor Gaius Charles. He is the starting running back of the Dillon High School Panthers. Considered the most talented player on the roster after quarterback Jason Street, Smash received his nickname from his father after hitting a water heater. Smash!! (in Russian: СМЭШ!!) was a Russian pop duo formed in 2000 which consisted of members Sergey Lazarev and Vlad Topalov. They sang mainly in English, and were most popular among teenagers in Russia and Southeast Asia. The duo were the first winners of New Wave, winning the contest in 2002. Although the duo fell apart in 2004, Smash!! officially disbanded in 2006. Barry Allen Darsow (born October 6, 1959) is an American retired Professional wrestling, professional wrestler who performed as Smash, one half of the tag team Demolition (professional wrestling), Demolition. He also wrestled as Krusher Kruschev, Repo Man, The Blacktop Bully and "Mr. Hole in One" Barry Darsow. Throughout his career, he worked for Jim Crockett Promotions, the World Wrestling Entertainment, World Wrestling Federation (WWF), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and several regional promotions in the 1980s and 1990s. Published in 1980 by Viking Press, the book follows the creation of a Broadway musical about vaudeville performer Nora Bayes, from casting to opening night. Plot The novel is in the form of a production diary for '' Shine On, Harvest Moon'', the fictional musical being created about the life of vaudevillian Nora Bayes. The diary is kept by Production Secretary Midge Maghakian, a young woman who leaves her secure publishing job to join the staff. Smash Records was an American record label founded in 1961 as a subsidiary of Mercury Records by Mercury executive Shelby Singleton and run by Singleton with Charlie Fach. Fach took over after Singleton left Mercury in 1966. Its recording artists included Frankie Valli, James Brown, Bruce Channel, Roger Miller, The Left Banke, Bill Justis, and Jerry Lee Lewis. History A dispute with King Records led Brown to release all of his band's instrumental recordings between 1964 and 1967 on Smash. Smash also released three of Brown's vocal recordings, including his 1964 proto-funk single "Out of Sight". Smash shared the numbering system for their singles with other labels that they distributed. The most important of these was Fontana Records. Mercury discontinued the Smash label in 1970.
