	Slaine (rapper) George Carroll, better known as Slaine, is an American rapper and actor. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, where he spent his childhood and teenage years. Carroll moved to New York City in the mid-1990s, where he adopted the moniker of Slaine and started to rap and record hip-hop. In the early 2000s, Carroll became a growing figure in the Boston hip-hop scene, releasing several mixtapes, and the LP ''Stereotypez'' (2007) with his group Special Teamz. Later, ''A Brand You Can Trust'' (2009) was released, by the rap supergroup La Coka Nostra, where Carroll is joined by Ill Bill, and House of Pain. 	Sláine Ingen Briain Sláine ingen Briain was the daughter of Brian Boru, High King of Ireland, and wife of Sigtrygg Silkbeard Sigtrygg II Silkbeard Olafsson (also Sihtric, SitricÓ Corráin, p. 123 and Sitrick in Irish texts; or SigtrygWinn, p. 46 and SigtryggrMac Manus, p. 278 in Scandinavian texts) was a Hiberno-Norse king of Dublin (possibly AD 989–994; restored ..., King of Dublin. Sláine was married to Sigtrygg after his defeat at Glen Máma in 999 to unite Dublin and Munster forces following a failed rebellion by Sigtrygg and others. They had one son, Olaf Sigtryggsson. The most well known reference to Sláine is in the ''Cogadh Gáedhel re Galliabh.'' Although only referred to as daughter of Brian and wife of Amlaibh's son in the Cogadh, her attributed words in the Cogadh are jabs at Sigtrygg and his allies. 	Sláine Mac Dela Sláine (Sláinge, Slánga), son of Dela, of the Fir Bolg was the legendary first High King of Ireland, who cleared the forest around Brú na Bóinne. He reportedly came ashore at Wexford Harbour at the mouth of the River Slaney. The Fir Bolg invaded Ireland with five thousand men. Sláine and his four brothers, who were descended from one of the sons of Nemed, divided Ireland amongst themselves. Sláine, the youngest of the five, took Leinster, Gann north Munster, Sengann south Munster, Genann Connacht and Rudraige Ulster. They elected Sláine as ruler over them. His wife was Fuad. His portion of the Fir Bolg were known as the Gailióin variant Gaileanga, named after their spears (Old Irish ''gáe''). His reign lasted from 1748 to 1703 BCE. He died at Dind Ríg in County Carlow and was buried at Slane, County Meath. He was succeeded by his brother Rudraige mac Dela. 	Slaine Kelly Slaine Kelly (born 9 July 1982) is an Irish television and film actress. Her first role was on the Irish short film '' Ouch'' directed by Ken Wardrop. She then went on to play a small part in ''George'' directed by Rory Bresnihan & John Butler the short stars Amy Huberman and Hugh O'Conor. Both shorts won a nomination for the Best Short Fiction Award at the Irish Film and Television Awards in 2005. She is best known for her role as Jane Howard in ''The Tudors''.
