Slobozhanske ( uk, Слобожанське; russian: Слобожанское) is an urban-type settlement in Dnipro Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. The populated place is part of the Dnipro urban sprawl being its immediate northern suburb. Slobozhanske hosts the administration of Slobozhanske settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: History of settlement The first settlements on the territory of modern Slobozhanske appeared as early as the second millennium AD. At the dawn of history, it was home to many nomadic peoples and tribes. The Scythians, Sarmatians and ant-people of the Slavic tribe left their traces here, and with the formation of Kievan Rus, in the 9th-12th centuries, the paths to the south lay through the steppes. Poltava
Poltava (, ; uk, Полтава ) is a city located on the Vorskla River in central Ukraine. It is the capital city of the Poltava Oblast (province) and of the surrounding Poltava Raion (district) of the oblast. Poltava is administratively incorporated as a city of oblast significance and does not belong to the raion. Ādaži Municipality ( lv, Ādažu novads) is a municipality in the historical region of Vidzeme, and the Riga Planning Region in Latvia, which consists of Ādaži and Carnikava parishes plus the administrative centre, Ādaži. BC Prometey ( uk, БК Прометей), also known as Prometey Slobozhanske, is a Ukrainian basketball club based in Kamianske. It played in the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague, the highest tier of basketball in Ukraine, from 2019 to 2022. In the 2022–23 season team will play in Latvian-Estonian Basketball League, due to the ongoing war in Ukraine due to the 2022 Russian invasion. The Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague (USL) ( uk, Українська баскетбольна суперліга) is the first-tier level of professional basketball league in Ukraine. Established in 1992, the league is currently contested by 10 clubs. It is a tier above the Ukrainian Higher League and allows for one season from the Higher League each season to be promoted. Highway M04 (Ukraine)
Highway M04 was a Ukraine international highway connecting Znamianka to Krasnodon on the border with Russia, where it continued into Russia as the A260. In Soviet times the M04 was part of the M21. The highway stretched through four oblasts and ended at the Izvaryne-Donetsk border checkpoint which is part of Krasnodon city (Luhansk Oblast). The section from Znamianka to Debaltseve was part of European route E50, and the section from Debaltseve to the Russian border was part of European route E40.
