Slobodan Marović
Slobodan Marović ( Cyrillic: Cлободан Mapoвић, born 13 July 1964) is a Montenegrin football manager and retired player. He is best known for his spell with Red Star Belgrade in the 1980s and early 1990s, being part of the side's European Cup victory in 1991. Playing career Club Born in Bar, SR Montenegro, during his playing career he played for NK Osijek, IFK Norrköping, and Silkeborg IF. International Marović made his debut for Yugoslavia in an August 1987 friendly match against the Soviet Union and has earned a total of 4 caps, scoring no goals. His final international was a November 1989 friendly against Brazil. Managerial career In December 2010 he has been appointed as assistant manager of Robert Prosinečki at Red Star Belgrade. Bar ( Montenegrin and Serbian: Бар, ; sq, Tivar; it, Antivari or ''Antibari'') is a coastal town and seaport in southern Montenegro. It is the capital of the Bar Municipality and a center for tourism. According to the 2011 census, the city proper had 13,503 inhabitants, while the total population of Bar Municipality was 42,068. Name ''Bar'' is a shortened form of ''Antivari''. The 1990–91 Yugoslav First League season was the 45th season of the First Federal League ( sh, Prva savezna liga), the top level association football competition of SFR Yugoslavia, since its establishment in 1946. The title was won by Red Star Belgrade, the club's 18th in its history. It also turned out to be the last season in which teams from SR Croatia and SR Slovenia participated. The 1989–90 Yugoslav First League season was the 44th season of the First Federal League ( sh, Prva savezna liga), the top level association football competition of SFR Yugoslavia, since its establishment in 1946. Two points were awarded for a win, none for a loss, while in case of a draw a penalty shootout was taken with the winner of the shootout being awarded one point. Red Star won the 17th title.
