The Senior League has been divided in two since 2004, with Division 1 comprising the leading eight sides, with the remainder in Division 1B, now known as Division 2. Tourlestrane are the most successful club, having won on 16 occasions, the latest in 2021. The trophy presented to the winners is the John White Cup. Bunninadden GAA
Bunninadden is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the south of the county, comprising the parish of Bunninadden in County Sligo, Ireland. History The club was founded in 1886 by Andrew Marren and John O’Dowd. James Kearins led Bunninadden to a 1999 league title and then to the 2000 Sligo Senior Football Championship title, the club's first for more than eight decades, before being appointed manager of the Sligo county team in 2003. In 2000, Bunninadden win the Sligo Senior Football Championship and Owen B Hunt cup for the second time in 109 years beating Coolera/Strandhill with a last minute Padraig Doohan goal. In 2006, Bunninadden again reached the county final, defeating rivals Eastern Harps in the semi-final. The final was against fellow south Sligo club Curry, to whom they lost 1-15 to 2-9. Naomh Molaise Gaels GAA
Naomh Molaise Gaels is a Gaelic Athletic Association club covering much of the northern area of County Sligo, comprising Cliffoney (Ahamlish) and part of the Drumcliffe/ Maugherow parishes. Shamrock Gaels is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the east of County Sligo, Republic of Ireland, including the parishes of Riverstown, Sooey, Gleann and Castlebaldwin. St Patrick's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Dromard and Skreen in west County Sligo, Republic of Ireland. St Mary's GAA (Sligo)
St Mary's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the western ward of Sligo, County Sligo, Republic of Ireland. History The club was formed in 1976 from the amalgamation of the Craobh Rua and Muire Naofa clubs. It is the only Sligo club to have won the Connacht Senior Club Football Championship, winning three titles.
