Kenneth Wayne Johnson (born December 8, 1957) is an American retired professional wrestling manager, better known by his ring name, Slick. He is best known for his appearances with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He is the son of professional wrestler Rufus R. Jones. Tom Slick is the cartoon star of a series of shorts that aired within the half-hour animated television series ''George of the Jungle'' (ABC, 1967). It was the work of Jay Ward Productions, the creators of Rocky & Bullwinkle and other satiric animated characters. Seventeen six-minute episodes were made. The premise Freckled, grinning, all-American racecar driver Tom Slick (voiced by Bill Scott) competes in various races with his trusty vehicle, the Thunderbolt Grease-Slapper. Slick is a town in Creek County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 131 at the 2010 census, an 11.5 percent decline from the figure of 148 recorded in 2000. History Slick began as an oil boom town in 1920, and was named for oilman Thomas B. Slick, who drilled a discovery well nearby. A railroad, the Oklahoma-Southwestern Railway, was completed into town the same year. By 1922, the town had an estimated population of 2500-3500. However, the railroad was abandoned by 1930, and when the town appeared for the first time in the U.S. census that same year, the population was only 422, a figure which declined until 1950 and has since fluctuated. A racing slick or slick tyre is a type of tyre that has a smooth tread used mostly in auto racing. The first production slick tyre was developed by M&H Tires in the early 1950s for use in drag racing.
