Slavo Kukić
Slavo Kukić (21 July 1954 – 7 September 2024) was a Bosnian sociologist and academic who was a professor and PhD in Marxist sociology. He was a member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Born in Posušje in 1954, Kukić obtained his BA, MS and PhD from the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo. He was professor of Sociology, Methodology of Scientific Research and Consumer Behavior at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Mostar, and taught several undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate doctoral studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its neighboring countries. He also wrote opinion columns for a variety of media organisations, such as Al Jazeera Balkans. Posušje
Posušje ( cyrl, Посушје, ) is a town and municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in the West Herzegovina Canton, a federal unit of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Name The name Posušje is derived from ''suša'' (Serbo-Croatian for drought). The area of Posušje was historically a dry area with water-supply problems. Nermin Nikšić
Nermin Nikšić (; born 27 December 1960) is a Bosnian politician who served as the 8th Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2011 to 2015. He is the current president of the Social Democratic Party and is a former member of the national House of Representatives. Born in Konjic in 1960, Nikšić holds a degree in law from the University of Mostar. Prior to the Bosnian War, he worked in Konjic as clerk of town planning, construction and housing, as well as communal services, marketing and catering inspecting. Nikšić was Head of the Inspection from 1990 until 1992. In 2000, Nikšić was named deputy mayor of Konjic, but soon resigned since he became a member of the Federal House of Representatives. In March 2011, after a year-long government formation, he was named Federal Prime Minister, serving until March 2015. Dario Kordić
Dario Kordić (born 14 December 1960) is a Bosnian Croat former politician from the Croatian Democratic Union, military commander of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) between 1992 and 1994, vice president of the Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia, a self-proclaimed Croat territory in Bosnia and Herzegovina and convicted war criminal. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison in February 2001 for war crimes committed against the Bosniak population during the 1992–94 Bosniak-Croat war, and was released in June 2014 after having served two thirds of his sentence. Vjekoslav Bevanda (; born 13 May 1956) is a Bosnian Croat politician who is the current Minister of Finance and Treasury. He is also the current Vice-chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, serving alongside Bisera Turković.
