Slavko Vukšić
Slavko Vukšić (born 24 March 1949) is a Croatian politician and businessman. He is the leader of the minor regional political party the Democratic Party of Slavonia Plain ( hr, Demokratska stranka slavonske ravnice). Vukšić was born in Šaptinovci near Đurđenovac. In 1983 he graduated from a Zagreb polytechnic school as a safety engineer. Between 1973 and 1987 he worked for INA, when he switched to being a small businessman doing auto-transport and construction. Since 1993 he is the majority owner and director of the company "Kamenolom Gradac d.d." which operates stone-mining and various construction works. Between 1996 and 2000 he was a member of the Croatian Parliament, elected in the 1995 Croatian parliamentary election under the banner of the Slavonia-Baranja Croatian Party. The Croatian Parliament ( hr, Hrvatski sabor) or the Sabor is the unicameral legislature of the Republic of Croatia. Under the terms of the Croatian Constitution, the Sabor represents the people and is vested with legislative power. Slavonia-Baranja Croatian Party ( or SBHS) was a regional political party in Croatia. It was founded in 1992 in Slavonia. It was usually allied with Social Democratic Party of Croatia. From 1995 to 2003 it was represented in the Croatian Parliament. At the 2003 Croatian parliamentary election, the alliance of the Croatian People's Party (HNS) with the Alliance of Primorje - Gorski Kotar and the Slavonia-Baranja Croatian Party won 8.0% of the popular vote and 11 out of 151 seats, 10 seats of them occupied by the HNS. Našice
Našice () is a town in eastern Croatia, located on the northern slopes of the Krndija mountain in eastern Slavonia, 51 km southwest of regional hub Osijek. Administratively it belongs to Osijek-Baranja County. Geography Našice is located on the D2 state road Varaždin–Virovitica–Našice– Osijek and the Varaždin–Dalj railway.
