Slaviša Koprivica
Slaviša "Slavko" Koprivica ( sr-Cyrl, Славиша "Славко" Копривица, born 17 June 1968) is a retired Serbian professional basketball player. He played at both the power forward and center positions. Professional career While playing with Partizan Belgrade, Koprivica won the EuroLeague championship, in 1992. Personal life Koprivica's son Balša (born 2000), played high school basketball in the United States. Balša won the 2017 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship, and he was considered to be one of the top ten college recruits in the Class of 2019. Koprivica and Miroslav Pecarski played together on the junior Yugoslav national team, and they won a gold medal at the 1987 FIBA Under-19 World Cup. Balša Koprivica ( sr-cyr, Балша Копривица; born 1 May 2000) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Partizan Mozzart Bet of the Serbian KLS, the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. He played college basketball for the Florida State Seminoles. He was considered one of the top ten college recruits in the class of 2019 until he dropped to a four-star recruit during his senior year. The Yugoslavia men's national under-16 basketball team ( sh, Kadetska košarkaška reprezentacija Jugoslavije) was the boys' basketball team, administered by Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia, that represented SFR Yugoslavia in international under-16 (under age 16) men's basketball competitions, consisted mainly of the European Championship for Cadets, nowadays known as the FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship. After the dissolution of SFR Yugoslavia in 1991, the successor countries all set up their own national under-16 teams. FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship
The FIBA U16 European Championship, previously known as the FIBA Europe Championship for Cadets, is a youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1971 edition. Through the 2003 edition, it was held every second year, but since the 2004 edition onward, it is held every year. The 1987 FIBA Under-19 World Championship (Italian: 1987 Campionato del mondo FIBA Under 19) was the 3rd edition of the FIBA U19 World Championship.
