Slammiversary (2017)
Slammiversary XV was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Impact Wrestling. It took place on July 2, 2017 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the thirteenth event under the Slammiversary chronology and celebrates the fifteenth anniversary of the promotion. It was also the first PPV event to be held under the Impact Wrestling name. The event included special appearances by TNA alums Shark Boy and James Mitchell, as well as members of American Top Team and El Hijo de Dos Caras. In October 2017, with the launch of the Global Wrestling Network, the event became available to stream on demand. Franklin Roberto Lashley (born July 16, 1976) is an American professional wrestler, mixed martial artist and bodybuilder. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw brand. In professional wrestling, a referee is an authority figure present in or near the ring during matches. The referee's purpose is similar to that of referees in combat sports such as boxing or mixed martial arts, that is, as an arbiter of the rules and the person charged with rendering decisions. David Penzer (born May 22, 1966) is an American professional wrestling ring announcer currently signed to Impact Wrestling.
