Skylab (film)
''Skylab'' is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language period comedy drama film written and directed by debutant Vishvak Khanderao. Produced by Byte Features in association with Nithya Menen Company, the film stars Nithya Menen, Satyadev Kancharana and Rahul Ramakrishna. The plot follows fictitious incidents in a Telangana village preceding the disintegration of the American space station Skylab in 1979. The film traces the fear looming among the villagers in a comical manner in light of these developments. ''Skylab'' was released theatrically on 4 December 2021. Plot The film is set in 1979 amidst a remote village Bandalingampalli in Telangana. This is also the time when a US-based Skylab satellite fails and its debris is all set to fall to Earth. Tanikella Bharani (born 14 July 1954) is an Indian actor, screenwriter, poet, playwright and director who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Telangana Dialect
Telangana Telugu, (Telangana slang or Telangana yaasa) often referred to as Hyderabadi Telugu () is a dialect of, the Telugu language. It has its own history, spoken mostly in the Indian state of Telangana, as well as neighbouring districts in Karnataka and Maharashtra that were a part of erstwhile Hyderabad State. This dialect, which is spoken in the Hyderabad region, is highly influenced by Hyderabadi Urdu, also called Dakhani or Deccani Urdu, at least in the vocabulary. A cameo role, also called a cameo appearance and often shortened to just cameo (), is a brief appearance of a well-known person in a work of the performing arts.
