Sky F1
Sky Sports F1 is a television channel created exclusively for Sky's UK and Ireland coverage of Formula One, with Sky having a package of rights from the 2012 season to the 2029 season. From 2012 to 2029, Sky Sports F1 has the exclusive rights to broadcast Formula 1 live in the UK and Ireland, and will sub-licence highlights of all races and qualifying sessions plus the British Grand Prix live to Channel 4. Since 2017, Sky Sports F1 has broadcast Formula 1 in 4K UHD. Background The BBC had exclusive UK F1 rights from 2009 until the end of the 2013 season, having regained the rights from ITV. Sky Living Loves
Sky Living Loves (formerly Living Loves) was a British television channel owned by British Sky Broadcasting. It launched on 5 July 2010 and closed on 21 February 2012. It was the sister channel of Sky Living and Sky Livingit. History On 1 July 2010, a preview for Living Loves replaced Living +2 on Sky and Virgin Media, ahead of the channels launch at 3pm on 5 July. The channel showed comedy and drama programmes that has recently aired on Sky Living, allowing viewers to watch shows again or catch up on series. Simon Lazenby
Simon Lazenby is a TV presenter and lead presenter of Formula One for Sky Sports. Lazenby graduated from Durham University with a degree in Natural Sciences. At university he played as a scrum-half for the rugby club and also captained his college team, St. Hild and St. Bede. After working initially as a grain trader for a private firm in Lincolnshire, he obtained work experience at Sky through fellow Durham alumnus Mark Durden-Smith, eventually passing a screen test after some months as a runner. He began presenting for Sky Sports in 2002, where he was part of the coverage of live Rugby Union. Sky Sports News (SSN) is a British paid television sports news channel run by Sky, a division of Comcast. History Since 1992, Sky Sports had broadcast sports news, initially a brief ''Football Update'' and later this was expanded into a 30-minute programme called ''Sky Sports Centre''. These programmes were generally broadcast on weekdays at 6pm and 10pm. Sky Sports News launched on 1 October 1998, the launch date of BSkyB's Digital Satellite service, and was BSkyB's first digital only channel. BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra (formerly BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra) is a national digital radio station in the United Kingdom, operated by the BBC, and specialising in extended live sports coverage.
