The Robinson River is a river in Australia's Northern Territory. Description The headwaters of the river rise on the Barkly Tableland and flow in a northerly direction across mostly uninhabited plains, crossing Highway 1 then past the Seven Emu homestead before eventually discharging into the Gulf of Carpentaria approximately east of Borroloola. The estuary at the river mouth occupies an area of and is in near pristine condition. It is river dominated in nature with a wave dominated delta and has an area of covered with mangroves. The drainage basin occupies an area of and is wedged between the catchment areas for McArthur River to the west and Calvert River to the east and the Barkly to the south. Woorabinda is a rural town and locality in the Aboriginal Shire of Woorabinda, Queensland, Australia. In the , Woorabinda had a population of 962 people. It is an Aboriginal community. Geography Woorabinda is in Central Queensland, inland about two hours' drive west of Rockhampton. The seasonal Mimosa Creek is nearby and is a source of local water. During rainy season, the town can be isolated due to road flooding. Access is via the Fitzroy Developmental Road, which is sealed north towards Duaringa and where it meets the Capricorn Highway to Rockhampton. Mason Lake is a natural elongated lake south of Belfair, Washington, United States in Mason County. Named for Charles H. Mason, the first secretary of Washington Territory, the lake is on the isthmus of the Kitsap Peninsula between the Hood Canal and Pickering Passage of the Case Inlet. The smaller Benson Lake is to its eastern side. Mason Lake is approximately 1000 acres in size and four miles long. Its maximum depth is 90 feet and the mean depth is 48 feet. With 10.9 miles of shoreline, the lake sits at 194 feet above sea level. Sandstone is a small town in the Mid West region of Western Australia east of Mount Magnet and north of the state capital, Perth. Skull Creek is a historic archeological site located at Hilton Head Island, Beaufort County, South Carolina. The site includes two of 20 or more prehistoric Indian shell middens in a ring shape located from the central coast of South Carolina to the central coast of Georgia. It probably dates from early in the second millennium BC, and is likely to contain some of the earliest pottery known in North America.
