Skudai Highway ''(Lebuhraya Skudai)'', also known as Senai Highway (Lebuhraya Senai), Jalan Tun Abdul Razak or Jalan Skudai, Federal Route 1, is a 29 kilometre partial-access highway in Johor, Malaysia, from the town of Senai in Kulai District to Johor Bahru City in Johor Bahru District. The highway is designated as part of Federal Route 1. History Opened to traffic in 1985, Skudai Highway was built as an upgrade to the Federal Route 1, as part of the North–South Expressway project. It was built as a four-lane highway (two in each direction). The stretch from Bandar Baru Uda to Skudai was widened to six lanes in 2001 to enable the highway to handle higher traffic capacity. Skudai Highway used to be a tolled highway with two toll plazas, the Senai toll plaza and the Johor Causeway toll plaza. Kulai District
The Kulai District is a district in the state of Johor, Malaysia. Its district capital is Kulai Town. It covers Kulai Town, Ayer Bemban, Bandar Putra Kulai, Bukit Batu, Indahpura, Bandar Baru Kangkar Pulai, Kelapa Sawit, Saleng, Sedenak, Seelong, Senai, and Sengkang. Senai–Desaru Expressway, SDE ( Malay: ''Lebuhraya Senai–Desaru''), is an expressway in Johor, Malaysia. It connects Senai in central Johor to Desaru in eastern Johor. Measuring a total length of , it is the third east–west-oriented expressway in the Iskandar Malaysia area after the Pasir Gudang Highway and the Pontian–Johor Bahru Link of the Second Link Expressway. With a new crossing over the Johor River, when opened on 10 June 2011, the expressway shortened travel time from Senai to Desaru from 2.5 hours to one hour. Johor Bahru Eastern Dispersal Link Expressway
The Johor Bahru Eastern Dispersal Link Expressway is a controlled-access highway entirely within Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. The expressway connects the end of the North–South Expressway Southern Route at Pandan to the Johor–Singapore Causeway in the city centre. The expressway was constructed to allow cross-border traffic to bypass the city centre and reduce congestion along Tebrau Highway, the existing main route to the causeway. The Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI; ms, Bangunan Sultan Iskandar) is a customs, immigration and quarantine (CIQ) complex in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. Located at the northern end of the Johor–Singapore Causeway, it is one of two land ports of entry to Malaysia on the Malaysia–Singapore border. The building was named after the late Sultan Iskandar of Johor.
